Nicholas David is currently on tour with the Avett Brothers. He is a singer/songwriter that focuses on alternative soul music. Nicholas David publishes music through his label Wake the World. Nicholas David got his start as a nationally-known singer as a member of Team CeeLo on the famous NBC show, The Voice. His unique sound and easy-going personality won him the spot in the top three of fan favorites.
The Avett Brothers are a popular group of two brothers, Scott and Seth. The brothers are joined by Bob Crawford, playing vocals and bass, and Joe Kwon, playing the cello. This dynamic group combines the different sounds of bluegrass, country, punk, pop, rock and folk into melodious hit songs. They have been compared to such artists as Buddy Holly and the Beatles. Their hit single was named #16 on the Bilboard Top 200 in 2009 and since then they have continued to grow in popularity. The Avett Brothers will be playing at the Morrison Center this Tuesday, October 15, 2013. The Morrison Center is Idaho’s premier performing arts center and is located on Boise State University’s campus. The doors open at 6:30 PM prior to the musical event, and the performance will begin at 7:30 PM sharp. Popular artist Nicholas David will provide the opening act before the Avett Brothers take the stage.
