About the Fair
Boise, ID brings you its 2013 annual fair event. The Western Idaho Fair-Expo is being held this August 16-25, 2013. This fun and exciting event has been conducted for over a hundred years, since its first fair in 1897. With such a grand history, the Western Idaho Fair-Expo is sure to put on a spectacular event. There are many attractions planned during this week, from shows and concerts with famous musical guests to rides and games for a fun day out. There is a gate fee for entering the fair grounds. Adults and children 12+ are charged $8 upon entrance, and children 6-11 years old are $5. Any child 5 years and under are free to get in. If you purchase entrance tickets online before the fair grounds open, you will receive discounted prices. You can also purchase carnival tickets or wristbands at an additional cost.

Children will have tons of fun when they participate in activities such as the pedal tractor pull, the animal farm, and the pig, duck and turkey races. Don't forget to get in line for the rides.
